MusicXclusives, The JR Media Group, A Silva Lining, and Drop The Heat Honoring & Charity Concert

Brooklyn, New York - MusicXclusives in partnership with The JR Media Group, A Silva Lining Productions, and Drop The Heat presents their 4th annual charity event on Thursday December 22nd, 2022. This year the event will be held at Brooklyn Music Kitchen located at 177 Vanderbilt, Brooklyn, NY 11205. It will include live performances from emerging R&B artists like WanMor, Journey Montana, Obasi Jackson, Nia Monét, Josh Sings, Victoria Dennis, and more.

The event will be hosted by brand ambassador and on-air correspondent, Silva, who is a social influencer and CEO and founder of event sponsor, A Silva Lining Productions. Her co-host will be prominent music producer BBearded. Bandsome Will will provide music from fellow event partners Drop The Heat, a diverse platform for artists, fashion, creators, and more. They specialize in event curation, creative direction & finding the next best thing!

Media check-in will be at 6:00pm with a red-carpet held after from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. A donation of toys, toiletries, clothes, and canned goods or a $20 gift is needed for entry. Toy donations will go to The Brooklyn Hospital Center. 15% of ticketed proceeds will go to organization H20 Basketball which provides young children opportunities to learn sporting techniques through training and events such as Ballin 4 Peace. Ballin 4 Peace is a citywide annual charity event that connects communities with prominent public figures. Founded by professional basketball player Haron "H20" Hargrove, Ballin 4 Peace promotes non-violent alternatives for conflicts in impoverished communities. 

This will also be the second year MX is honoring influential professionals in the industry with their  "Influencer Humanitarian Award". This year MusicXclusives will be honoring industry elites such as On-Air Personality Gabriel “Gabe P” Pabron of On The Radar Radio/Power 105.1, Tavia Mapp-Deterville (Publicist), Lyndon “KPShotIt” King (Photographer), DeAndre “Dizzy Banko” Sumpter (Producer), Raheem "Borleone Films" Williams (Video Director) and Bobby Fisher (VP of A&R, Empire) for their dedication and passion to help others. 

This will be a great production with cocktails and food available for guests. 

Smocca Locca, K Goddess, Harl3y Trey- “BOD GYAL”

“BOD GYAL” is the newest breakthrough single by emerging Brooklyn rapper, Smocca Locca, featuring verses from Brownsville, Brooklyn’s very own K Goddess, and up-and-coming artist Harl3y Trey from Far Rockaway, Queens. The single was highly anticipated among each of the three artists' growing fanbase, already gaining over 75K+ views in three days on Instagram in which they only shared a 30-second preview prior to the official release. Smocca Locca, K Goddess, and Harl3y Trey collaborating on a track make for the perfect representation of “bod gyals” from New York City. “BOD GYAL” features Smocca, K, and Harl3y going back to back on a Caribbean drill-type beat delivering confidence, a bad bitch attitude, and their own individual flavors.

Upon first play, the smooth sounds take you to the Caribbean until the high-energy drums kick in to show you what they are about. Smocca Locca collaborated with producer Alexie Gratia on “BOD GYAL” to make a unique high energy beat (prod. by SynthWerks). Your attention is immediately grabbed as Smocca Locca starts the track off with strong drill ad-libs “Gang gang gang/ Bod gyal don’t what?/ Bod gyal don’t play!” followed by a catchy hook that you won’t be able to get out of your head. You feel the strength and personality from each artist as they take turns executing heavy bars, sexy cadence, and the sauce you can only find in a New York City woman. K Goddess begins her verse with a not-so-friendly reminder of what she is capable of: “Tired of the rumors/ Lining these bitches right up like a ruler/ Hopped in the whip and maneuvered/ She was talking all crazy on live so I came alive all in her dreams Freddy Kreuger” And you should be scared. Following K, Harl3y ends the track with her verse telling us that they are certainly a different breed, “Get a thrill off of hearing your heartbeat/ Shake up the room but I’m walking in calmly,” As individuals, the ladies are unbothered but not to be played with.
